Their teacher, Becky Huffman, asked if anyone wanted to pray and ask Jesus in their heart.
Brianna shot her hand up and said "I do!"
Dominick said he already did, on his own. (I will do a looking back post about that, later)
Brianna prayed with Joy Waldo and asked Jesus to come into her heart!
When I picked her up after church, she was dancing around the room with her helmet of salvation on while Dom and the other kids were playing with their helmet of salvation and swords of the Spirit. She ran to me and gave me a big hug and kiss!
When we got home I told Papa that Brianna said a special prayer tonight. Brianna immediately jumped on his lap and said "I have Jesus in my heart!"
Looking back...April 2007
4-1 - The kids had their first communion...Brianna loved saying "thank you Jesus" before eating the bread and before drinking the juice.
4-7 - At a Good Friday service...they took communion again. During the worship songs Brianna raised her hands.
April summary - Brianna talks a lot about Jesus..."Jesus is my best friend", "I wish Jesus made us with 3 hands" (already thinking like a mom) and "I want to go to Heaven now to see Jesus, but I don't want to die".
May 28, 2008 - Salvation is a journey, and this is a special day in Brianna's walk with the Lord!
