Things our kids said or did that were funny or that were significant in their developmental growth and spiritual growth.
I do not look back with regret or wish that my kids were that age again. I delight in the day, the hour and the minute that we are living right now. I look back to remember where we've come from, to re-learn lessons already learned and to renew the joy and humor of mommy-hood.
I look forward to the days and minutes ahead that I will get to share with our family.
I am starting with Dominick, since we just celebrated his birthday and he is our first-born.
January 2003-Dominick (20 months) says a lot of new words. His new sound this month is "uck". He can say truck, stuck and broke. His sympathy emotion is developed. If he hurts us or gets hurt he whimpers and gives us a hug and kiss. Sometimes I think he fakes it so he can give a hug and kiss!
February 2003-Dominick (21 months) likes his first character, Elmo! He has learned empathy: he pats sissy [Bri-1 month] or pats mommy when sissy is crying and says "ohhhhhh" with a truly concerned look on his face. He pats me when I am upset and frustrated. He is a very sensitive boy.
May 17, 2003-I realized how clean-obsessive I am...Papa was pouring Dom some milk. A couple drops splashed on the floor which wasn't a big deal for Tyler to clean but Dominick said "uh-oh, Papa. Mess. Clean it!" Then [Dom] went to the towel drawer and pulled out a handful of towels and quickly wiped up the two drops of milk!

I LOVE looking back at Dom's early days. He was the most precious little guy...I remember how sensitive he was and love that he still is. ...his proud auntie...
Dom is such a sweetie! Love the picture. Dom looks like Boston is this picture. That Lewis gene shows up in our boys :-)
