I got to enjoy my first experience on class 2 & 3 rapids. After this I might try bungee jumping. Ya, right!! I have nightmares of falling!We used Uncle Don's inflatable kayaks. We had to inflate them. Even the back-support pillows. Good work, Michael.
The scenery is just breathtaking!
Beth and I rode in a 2-person kayak, with only 1 paddle. Beth steered the first half, then I paddled and tried to steer the latter. My dad and his younger, more adventurous brother, Don, also rode tandem. It was sure relaxful sitting in the front, but it was a lot of work when sitting in the middle with the paddle.
Michael and Samuel had their own 1-person IK (inflatable kayak) and
cousin 
Emily had her own hard shell kayak.
She's a pro.
She did the flip thing, where you roll sideways, head under the water, then roll back up on the other side.
I was impressed!

The Rapids
We got stuck in Up Against A Wall.
We sailed through Bump And Grind.
We got extra rinsed in Maytag Shoot.
We switched seats before Reforma.
We didn't even notice Mother Rock.
We went overboard in Overboard...
Due to my bad steering, the front of the kayak hit a big rock at the beginning of the rapid, and sent Beth overboard. She had to swim the whole rapid hanging on to the kayak. Another bad steering move caused her to go shin-first into another big rock so she has a big bruise to show for it. Brave girl.
I was very impressed!
