The Dentist

A year ago Dominick had cavities that needed to be filled, but as soon as the dentist lifted up the needle he freaked out. I finally found a wonderful dentist that the kids love and trust. Yesterday and today Dominick had his upper baby molars on both sides filled. He squeezed my hand while Dr. Bob talked him through poking his cheek "just like a mosquito bite....so the bugs will go to sleep". With a floppy upper lip Dom said "so this is what it feels like to be numb!" and he looked in the mirror to make sure his upper lip was not as huge as it felt. Dom was so brave, he layed perfectly still and stayed calm, even when they put these crazy contraptions on his teeth:
