Laundry

This is a funny story in the midst of chaos.
I'm behind on laundry again. There is a mountain of dirty clothes on my laundry room floor and scattered throughout the house because I have been busy with a few more important things, such as getting my regular month of work done by this Friday because we are leaving Saturday to visit Tyler's parents for Spring Break. (and I am not a good multi-tasking, organized mom anymore)
Yesterday I started filling the washing machine with water and dumped in the soap but was interrupted by a phone call I was waiting for. As I dashed to the phone I told Dom to fill the washing machine with clothes.
Last night when I put him to bed I remembered what I had told him to do (wondering if I would find a clogged drain-sink and water 2 inches deep on the floor-it has happened before) and I asked if he did it. He said,

"Yes, mom, but I put the lights and darks together and even some fuzzy ones." ;-)

He did a perfect job! And sure enough, when I moved the clothes to the dryer this morning there were white and yellow fuzzy towels, fleece shirts, soccer shorts and a silky black work shirt. But I am just so thankful someone else did a load of laundry for me!!
Another post with no pictures. Hmmmm...
