(7) 1st grader, friend to everyone, can read and loves math, has lost 8 teeth (for $2/tooth, some were forced out), loves baseball, video games, computer games and is very protective of his younger sister and brother.
Monday evening Dominick's school had their Spring Music program. His class sang and danced to a cute song "I'm a cowboy". While the other classes performed, the kids sat below the stage. Who is the young lady he is sitting next to? (she looks just like Brianna!) Well let me tell you...
Sunday evening I read a book at bedtime, Jennifer Jones Won't Leave Me Alone. When I finished, I asked Dom if he had a "Jennifer Jones" at school. I was expecting, No one named Jennifer Jones at my school, mom. But he answered, "Yes. Her name is Amber. We chase each other at recess." :-) Reminds me of my earliest crush: I would have been 6 or 7. Tyler's family was over for dinner (we grew up together at the same church). My neighborhood girlfriends and I chased Tyler until we finally tackled him. Tyler fought to get free and punched me in the mouth, knocking out one of my teeth. I had to run inside bleeding, while the other girls smothered him with kisses. I had to wait for our first kiss, 10 years later!
