How does your garden grow?

Sunday evening, after returning home from vacation, visiting with Markus' family, taking them to the airport, and having to say good-bye :-( ....... I brought the kids over to Grandpa Johnson and Mackie's and we helped harvest some of their vegetables.
We harvested strawberries, beets, potatoes, peas and carrots.

Later this summer, we will have corn, tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, onions, blueberries, pumpkins, and more.

I have been too busy to start my (much smaller) garden but today I had some special helpers.

Brianna and Dominick invited Emilie, Grace and Eli over to play. The girls helped me plant my first vegetable, a tomato plant, and watered the garden for me.

We hope that little tomato plant (in between Emilie and Grace's feet) will grow as tall as Grace!

Then they played on the trampoline, rode bikes and colored.

The boys....they just acted like boys!
