The All-American way to celebrate 4th of July - eating a corn dog in front of a firework stand wearing a baseball uniform! :-)
The Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Parade! Lots of kids decorated their bikes and rode in the parade.
And it was great exercise for us moms.
The kids were exhausted from riding around the big neighborhood so we went back home for some food and rest before starting our small firework show.
The kids get to pick out their own firework. Bri's turtle chased her out of the garage! And she had a hard time doing a "popper", but she loves collecting the pretty string.
Isaac did his first sparkler, but he wouldn't hold it when it was lit. The crackling sounds and sparks scare him.
We love celebrating our country's birthday with fireworks! Lots of colorful smoke bombs and pretty fountains.
It was a great show!

We missed spending the 4th with you guys but it was worth the trip to mom & dads :) resh.
