OPENING CEREMONY/CORONATION
The opening ceremony for the 2008 Chautauqua Festival will be
at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1st at Patterson Park. The
ceremony includes crowning this year’s Prime Minister, Jerry
Renfro and Grand Marshals, Tyler Lewis, GHS Boys Soccer
Coach and 4A Coach of the Year, Jason Southmayd, 4A Player
of the Year & the GHS Soccer Team. Recognition for Business
of the Year will be awarded to Hamilton’s Appliance and a special
award will be given to Geneva Jones, Longest Parade Participant.
PARADE
The parade is Saturday, August 2nd beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the
Gladstone High School and ending at Patterson Park.
