surgery again?

I have "some miniscus tearing" from over-use, over-time.
Last year I thought I had Driver's Knee, Seriously. My right knee hurt from stepping on the gas so hard to get the kids to school on time! ;-)
The swelling just showed up a few weeks ago: "The 2 most common causes of meniscus injuries are acute trauma to the knee and degeneration of the knee joint. Occupations such as mining or carpet-laying, where you spend a lot of time with bended knees on the floor [what about housecleaning and gardening and mommying -scrubbing floors, pulling weeds, changing diapers on the floor and squatting to their level] or from participation in contact sports or repetitive stress activities such as running and skiing [such as running, dancing, gymnastics, soccer and chasing kids up and down the stairs] are prone to meniscus injuries. [that would explain the swollen knee]

Could this be from knees bent in prayer???? Kidding.
I didn't know you'd had a previous knee sugery!
It sounds like you need a rest. GET SOME REST!!!! You must make yourself a priority.
Love and praying.
P.S. Let me know if you need help, I might be able to help in some way!

This would be my 2nd surgery in my lifetime ;-) My 1st surgery was the hysterectomy 12/31/07: http://tkdbilewis.blogspot.com/2008/01/happy-new-year.html
And figures this would happen when I was ready to start running again!

I would like to run again cause that is my favorite time to talk with God! When I get on my knees I tend to doze off in the middle of a sentence....
