WATER, interesting... (I got this info when I was pregnant with Isaac and being treated to a wonderful massage, thanks to the 2006 GHS soccer boys! :-)...
* 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated
* In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it's often mistaken for hunger
* Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%
* One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of dieters studied in a UofW study.
* Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
* Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
* A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
* Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79% and decrease likeliness of developing bladder cancer by 50%.
Cheers!

Thanks for posting this! I am a loud supporter for water :) Most people I chat with drink like 2 glasses a day?! How do they even function? I once dated a girl that never drank water, only juice and milk. It's no wonder she had such problems with digestion and going #2! Her insides were probably drier than the Sahara in summertime.
Drink your water!
This is insane! Thanks for the good info.
It's true! - water increases your metabolism and helps you lose and maintain weight! I only recently learned that cold water actually burns more calories because it causes your body to work harder to warm the water to your body temperature! I LOVE ice cold water! :-)
