We started a running contest! For one month, the person who runs the most minutes gets to be treated to their choice of dinner-out by the losers. As competitive as I am, I don't care if I win, we're all winners for running! I am just thankful for an excuse to finally start running again after 22 months off (it's been hard to find time with 3 kids) And with a torn meniscus, it will be tough but "no pain, no gain", right?
2 runs, I feel great and I'm in the lead! (for now)
Thank you Ty for thinking up this contest. Don't cry if you get beat by girls! ;-)

Keeping a chart, exercise journal or writing it in your daytimer and turning it into a contest or making a goal with a reward are the best motivators to get moving and keep moving!

I'm not sure who to cheer for?? Maybe I should cheer for myself to get off the couch and do some of my own running!!! Good luck :) ...r...
Seems unfair since he is coaching and can run with his boys everyday during practice? My vote for Kari!
