Day 3

9am, we went back to the airport to take a quick 2.5 hour flight from Munich to Copenhagen, Denmark. We were greeted at the airport by our sweet Sandra :) and her dad, Morten.
We rolled our luggage on the train, through Copenhagen, to Morten's office, then walked around Copenhagen, first stopping for a drink at a cafe :)
Denmark was voted the "happiest country in the world" and is also one of the top 7 most expensive countries in the world! The "European feeling" is the same, lots of people walking and riding bikes on the cobblestone around the city of big, old buildings and churches, but the canals and fancy cafes give it a euphoric feeling. "Love is in the air"
It was also graduation week for the high school seniors, who celebrate for 14 days drinking beer and driving around town in trucks, making lots of noise! fun traditions.
We stayed with Sandra's dad's family:
Morten and Bettina Christensen
Sandra's step-brother Nicolaj and step-sister Camilla, her sister Helena and her dog Cindy.
